Jennifer commenced her training at the age of 2, theatrically under Evelyn Allbright and classically under Kathleen Gorham & Athol Willoughby. She holds her Associate Diploma of Cecchetti Ballet, Associate Diploma in Jazz A.D.S and a Diploma of Teaching – Primary PE Specialist & Vic Fit. Jennifer established Keilor Jazz Centre in 1986 and developed it into the exciting & vibrant studio that it is today.
Morgan trained in all aspects of dance at Keilor Jazz Centre for 18 years. She has obtained her Certificate II & IV in dance and Cecchetti Ballet qualifications as far as Advanced I. Morgan has completed 3 years of full-time training at Spectrum Dance, completing her Diploma of Musical Theatre and received the prestigious LA Scholarship upon graduating. She has been a cheerleader for NBL Melbourne United, Melbourne Stars 20/20 Cricket and Melbourne Storm. Morgan has performed at various corporate events around Melbourne, including Shared Tables, Victory Gala Ball, MVC Boxing Gala, and Shin Kong Melbourne Summit. She has recently returned from her 3 month contract performing in ‘Illusion Impossible’. She can’t wait to share what she has learnt with the students at Keilor Jazz Centre.
Taylor began her dance journey at the age of 2 developing many styles including tap, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre. She has played many leading roles in amateur theatre productions including Dorothy in ‘The Wiz’ in 2006, Horton in ‘Suessical the Musical’ in 2008 and Seymour in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ in 2012. Taylor began her professional career in 2005 starring in the ‘Opening of the Christmas Lights’ as a dancer alongside Toby from Neighbours and other big star names. Taylor then went on to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in 2006. Taylor later performed at the Hugh Jackman Fight Cancer Foundation’s ‘Red Ball’ in 2010 and also appeared in a ‘Candy Man’ starring Wayne Scott Kermond. Taylor has a great passion for the performing arts and believes that all dancers should be given the chance to shine on stage. She now dedicates her time to teaching dance, singing and acting and is due to complete her Bachelor of Arts and Education (secondary) majoring in dance and drama by the end of 2018.
Alicia has been training in all aspects of dancing and singing at Keilor Jazz Centre for the past 8 years. Throughout her time, she has had the opportunity to represent the school at many prestigious competitions, as well as working under the guidance of Paul Malek and Kim Adam for a 4 year stint with ‘Project Y’. She is commencing full time studies at Spectrum Dance in 2016 to gain more knowledge for a future career in the entertainment industry. Alicia has a strong passion for Hip Hop and can’t wait to share her love for dance with her recreational class this year!
Dancing since the age of 3, Stephanie has been trained in and competed in all styles of dance at many competitions around Australia. For the past three years Stephanie has studied at Patrick Studios Australia, completing year 11 and 12 at The Academy in 2016 and 2017 where she moved onto Fulltime Performing Arts in 2018. Stephanie has received her Certificate II & III in Dance, as well as obtaining her RAD qualifications as high as Advanced Foundation. Stephanie looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with her students at Keilor Jazz Centre.
Cristelle began dancing at the age of 3, following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother. At the age of 9, she started training with Carole Oliver in Wendouree in the Cecchetti method, also learning Jazz and Tap from Kelly Aykers. At the age of 15 Cristelle moved to Melbourne to study at Christine Walsh’s Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and then to The Dance Factory, graduating with a Diploma in Dance and Performing Arts in 2004. She earned her Cecchetti Associate Diploma status in 2015, as well as her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management. Cristelle has 13 years of dance teaching experience.
Chenelle is a dedicated and passionate teacher and performer who has worked alongside some of Australia’s most talented professionals. Chenille has had the opportunity to perform alongside some of Australia’s best musical theatre performers in the Rob Guest Endowment’s Concert production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, the Australian premier of the musical ‘Dreamgirls’ and cabaret shows in the world famous Spiegeltent. Chenille also works as a commercial dancer at various corporate events at Crown Entertainment Complex, also appearing in music videos and backup dancing for Meghan Trainor at the 2015 TV Week Logie Awards, Nathaniel at the 2015 NBL launch, Justice Crew at the Australian Open and Redfoo on Channel 7′s Dancing With the Stars. Chenille has also had the opportunity to assistant teach the ‘Formation” dance classes held by FOX FM and BEAT Entertainment. Chenille is very excited to share her passion for commercial dance and knowledge of the industry with the students at Keilor Jazz!
Elly has been dancing since the age of 7 and graduated from Spectrum Dance in 2011. She loves teaching and hopes to keep the passion for dance alive in her students. This is Elly’s 4th year at Keilor Jazz Centre and she cannot wait for another exciting year.
Dancing with Keilor Jazz Centre since the age of 4, Jemima has been trained in all facets of dance. Jemima currently holds her Cert I & II in VET Dance, and received her teaching levels for Acrobatics from Team Adrenalin Fitness Centre, where she continues to compete on the highest level Sports Acrobatic Team. She has obtained her Cecchetti qualifications as far as Advanced and will be commencing full time studies at PSA in 2016.
Elise has experience in performing, teaching and creatively in Music Theatre and Live Music for over 15 years. She began studying dance at age 3 and pursued music, singing and acting studies throughout her school years and graduated The Arts Academy with a BA Music Theatre.
Her major music theatre credits include Guys and Dolls, Jersey Boys, Pippin, An Officer & A Gentleman, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Saturday Night Fever and Company.
She has also cruised as a guest entertainer vocalist in Rock Rhapsody and The Dream Divas and has spent the last 2 years travelling the world with both Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruise as a cast singer and lead vocalist for numerous bands. When home she pursues her love of choreography and mentoring budding artists to achieve their dreams. Merging now in to directing both musically and in acting, she brings with her a vast knowledge of the industry as it evolves and a passion for furthering the love of the art form we call entertainment.
Kate begun her dance training at the age of 5, studying Cecchetti Classical Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance under Carmel Horsfield and has studied VET dance and VCE dance at Secondary College.
She attended the Christine Walsh Dance Centre (The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet) as a full time student for 1 year, and then trained at The Dance Factory, studying commercial dance.
Kate has completed Certificate III and Certifcate IV in Fitness with Victoria University and is also a qualified Zumba Instructor.
Kate has completed every level of Cecchetti Classical Ballet from Grade One up to Advanced One.
Cecchetti Classical Ballet Teaching qualifications include; Associate and Associate Diploma, and has also obtained a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management.
